I earned my M.S. in Experimental Psychology while doing research on information processing, relationships, and social media use. I also served as a teaching assistant and psychology tutor in graduate school. Currently I work as the research director for a large mental health company that specializes in treating people with anxiety disorders and eating disorders, but I miss having the opportunity to mentor and teach students who are beginning or continuing their journey in psychology. As your tutor, I will help you gain a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the subject material using similar methods to those I used while tutoring college students. This includes breaking down concepts into their simplest forms which allows us to create knowledge base that we can build and expand upon. Supplemental materials will also be used, such as research publications and the wealth of resources available for free on the internet. I promise that not only will you have a fuller and deeper understanding of the material but you will also have a lot of fun at the same time.
