I am a graduate of Bucknell University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience, giving me experience in biology, psychology, and health sciences in general. I have quite a bit of tutoring experience as I have always believed that knowledge should be shared. I was a tutor in high school while I was in the International Baccalaureate program and the National Honors society. At Bucknell, I was a teaching assistant for the chemistry department. These are only two of the many ways that I have gained experience in helping others. My expertise lies in math and science due to my interest in these subjects, as well as English, reading, language, and test preparation due to their great importance in today's success. I pride myself in my ability to connect with those who I help and my knack for making challenging concepts relatable. I just completed a job working as a lab technician for a start-up pharmaceutical lab researching and creating novel diabetes therapeutics and began a job working for a medical information based start up company. I am also an experienced SAT tutor. Personally, I scored in the 98th percentile as a junior in highschool in 2009, and have helped students increase their scores by 300+ points ever since. I have mastered the content, as well as how to teach it and make it relatable to students of various backgrounds and learning types.
