ExperienceI've often unofficially (as in, no paid tutoring contract) helped tutor my peers who were struggling with a class while I was taking it, including hosting study sessions prior to tests and quizzes.
I've been told I have a gift for not only understanding concepts in classes, but being able to proceed to explain them to others, as well as quickly identify what part of a subject a student is struggling with, allowing for a more effective focus.
I've taken Biology I/II, General Chemistry I/II, Physics I/II, and Organic Chemistry I/II. Other classes include Genetics, Cell & Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics (the bare basics), and Inorganic Chemistry.
In terms of writing, I've worked as a technical writer for a firm that publishes a weekly digest for the petroleum & petrochemical industries, along with other lesser projects in game development (mainly writing backstory and content).
HobbiesMy interests include biology and chemistry (hence my major and minor), as well as cooking, writing, and goth playing and designing videogames. Botany is a specific interest of mine in the field of biology, and one I plan to pursue further both during and after college.
